Devastation in Utopia!

The citizens of Coastalia are giving disturbing reports. Radiating Rudderfish, deformed dolphins, colorful crustaceans and mutated mackerel have been caught by the fisherman. Nuclear contamination threatens the paradise-like region. And even worse: The fish taste slightly different...

You and your team have been send to investigate the tragedy. As the only submarine strong enough to withstand the hostile conditions of the contaminated waters it is your task to find, scan and understand the mutated marinelife. Use the knowledge to strengthen your submarine, venture into depths unknown to mankind and defeat what slumbers in the deep, Captain Nemo!

Controls:

WASD - Move

SPACE / SHIFT - Boost

RIGHT CLICK - Research Beam

What your mission is:

1. Find and scan mutated fish - they look conspicuous and sprinkle depending of the rarity of the variant
2. Your ship is not ready for the deepest abyss yet -> upgrade the submarine with your research
3. Dive deeper and find more exotic fish and mutations
   1. Sparkles in different colors indicate mutated fishes
4. Finish the run by discovering the secret in the dark (below 120 meters...)

This is the second game we created as a couple. :D We made this in 5 days. All assets are HANDDRAWN except for the buttons and the menu.
